Yeah... you're right. They have. I dunno, I think I've just gotten to the point of assuming that anything I think is a good or interesting idea, they're never going to do.
I hope you're right. If it was Rusty, I'd dread to think what the results of a Tate Doctor could be. But I think if anyone could pull off the Girl!Doctor, it would be The Moff.
